Ikhsan (Ahmad Pule) asks his mother, Daeng Rannu (Sri Herawati), for permission to visit the grave of his father, Daeng Rate (Jerry Wong), who died 15 years ago after being accused of being the black magic shaman Doti in Jonjo village. Despite his trauma, Daeng Rannu finally allows him, on the condition that Ikhsan be careful and conceal his identity.
